  • Irondale Cafe: Made famous by the film Fried Green Tomatoes, the restaurant is arguably Irondale's largest attraction. It is located in downtown Irondale, and the Irondale Cafe serves southern style food.
  • Grants Mill Station: This shopping mall is the home to 20 stores, including, Barber Shop, Irondale Pickers, and The Sports Station.
  • Cahaba Landing: Located along the Cahaba River, the park has 1.5 miles of walking trails. Its main attraction is the its canoe launch pad.
  • Ruffner Mountain Nature Preserve: With over 1,000 acres, the park used to be a mine. The nature reserve is privately managed and has multiple overlooks with spectacular views of Birmingham.
  • EWTN: The Eternal World Television Network is the Roman Catholic Church's television network. Founded in 1981 by Mother Angelica, ETWN's regular programs include daily mass and the recitation of the Rosary.
